Still River Editions has over twelve years experience in fine art digital giclee print making, and over 26 years in the photographic and fine art printing industries. With a focus on individual service and attention to detail, we reproduce artwork and original photography appealing to artists in a wide variety of mediums. We feel honored to serve our clients, and your success means a lot to us. We are committed to serving you face to face or over the internet, and are always happy to take the time to go over the process with you and answer your questions. If you call us, you will not be talking to some salesperson, you will be talking to the technician/artist who will do your work. All of our work is performed in-house, in our facility at Connecticut Photographics. Your original artwork is safe with us while it is in our care, an our space is both fire/burglar protected and insured. Why Still River Editions? The Still River flows behind our location in downtown Danbury, CT. The Still River has played an important role in the city’s industry and lore, and is now a symbol of both change and persistence. Here is the building that stood where we are located. This photo is before 1885 when most of it burned to the ground, a small section remains. The building in the foreground is now our parking lot. Mark Savoia is a fine-art photographer, master digital giclee printmaker, and co-owner and Vice-president of Connecticut Photographics and Still River Editions in Danbury, CT. Recently, Savoia won a 2010 artist fellowship from the Connecticut Commission on Culture and Tourism for his black and white digital photography. Savoia is a graduate of the New England School of Photography, and exhibits his photography in the Northeast. E-mail Mark Catherine Vanaria, photographer, printer, and educator, is the co-owner and President of Connecticut Photographics and Still River Editions. Vanaria is also an Adjunct Professor of Photography at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury, CT. She holds a BFA from Hartford Art School, an MA in Digital Photography from Savannah College of Arts and Design, and an MFA in Visual Arts from Art Institute of Boston. She received a Connecticut Commission on Culture and Tourism fellowship in 2004. Vanaria's first photography monograph, The Boston Years: The Music Scene in Photographs 1979-1986, was published by Laughing Camera Press in 2008. E-mail Cathy Lysbeth Guillorn has been with Connecticut Photographics/Still River Editions for 12 years. Prior to that, she worked in publishing and rock-and-roll journalism, which formed a fine foundation for writing our blog. She is a graduate of Fairfield University, and studied photography and printing at The New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, MA. She specializes in digital imaging, and traditional black-and-white printing, and truly enjoys working with our clients. If you are looking for a little extra help with any of our services, she is patient and calm, and will gladly help out.
